if every being is interwoven
with every other being
if mountain-rock, ocean-tide, tree-spirit, ancient ancestors are all related….
what then?
what would our communities and organisations actually look like, if we began from this knowing?
The Planet Song Collective works with you and your community/organisation to explore earth-spirit kinship, from the tangible reality of organisational-mapping, to the deeper currents of ceremonial healing and earth-listening.

All we need to do is remember
UPCOMING EVENTS
Get in Touch
Planet Song is slowly birthing as an organisation.
We welcome enquiries about the Imaginarium Room and about our workshops.
We’re opening a call for organisations/communities that are interested in exploring what earth-spirit kinship means for you.
We are also searching for a community/organisation that is willing to embark on a joint research exploration over time.
Our burning curiosity is how our Western settler-coloniser-dominated society can re-remember what it means to work in right-relationship with all of our earth-spirit kin.
We understand that exploring earth-spirit kinship requires responsibility and healing from the legacies of violence which have ruptured right-relationship.
This includes acknowledging colonial violence, and opening space and time to heal whatever we’re carrying inside that perpetuates a narrative of separation and domination.
This is a collective conversation, explored in our relationships with others (whether they be human, tree, ancestor, or frog).
What do you mean by…?
-
All our family/friends/guardians/lovers/custodians (kin) in earthly and spirit form.
On one level, this actually means everything and everyone. The term “earth-spirit kin” can be useful, though, because it reminds us that our kin includes trees, solar systems, oceans, earth elementals, sound frequencies, Fae, ants, dragons, rocks, mountains… and everything in between.
Some people prefer saying “earth”, “nonhuman”, or “more-than-human”, “spirit allies”, “mulitdimensional family”. We like earth-spirit kin, because it reminds us of how intimately close in relationship we are with everything that is – and that we carry a responsibility to tend to our family/friends/guardians/lovers/custodians (kin), whatever form they take. -
The structures and systems by which we organise our everyday lives. This includes the decision-making structures and the systems we set up to do the work.
Governance occurs at all levels, formal and informal. The family unit has a governance system – how are decisions made? How does the housework get done? Our friendship circle has a governance system – how does emergency emotional support work?
On a larger-scale social and community level, governance looks like the systems and structures that ensure we are fed, housed, in right-relationship/safe, and happy. For example, the agricultural system is governed by a set of legal and cultural rules/regulations.
governance is not static
governance is syncing ourselves to this pattern
to letting my bones sink into the rhythms
of how this patch of earth
moves and shapes and flows
