What does it mean for an organisation/ community/ business to have systems and structures that emerge organically from a right-relationship with earth-spirit kin? 

Systems and structures are everything from banking/money-processing systems, to how tea cups are washed up. From how the vision of the whole organisation is received-held-translated, to how weekly meetings are conducted and decisions made. From how the couches are placed in space, to how community members communicate with one another. All these are “governing” structures that determine how we interact with each other – human and more-than-human alike; how we actually do what we’re aspiring to do. 

Planet Song’s mission is to work alongside you, and your earth-spirit kin, to create systems and structures that are relational collaborations with the earth-spirit kin. We ask the beings we work with how they would like to organise with us; and in some cases, it’s appropriate to ask how they would like to organise us

The process threads the somatic and ceremonial, with the intensely practical of spreadsheets, and compliance forms. 

What does working with us involve?

  • Initial consultation conversations. These include both informal conversation, and shared learning on both sides, with a. an Introduction to Planet Song (what is Planet Song, how do we work?), and b. an Introduction to your Organisation (who are you, what do you hope for, why now?).

  • This is the foundation of our work. 

    A playful, somatic, ceremonial process of greeting the land and earth-spirit kin that you’re working with and for. 

    Depending on your background and existing skill-set, we’ll explore several workshops together over time that are designed to ignite your trust in your own intuition/gut-sensing, and introduce you to some ways we can explore meeting / relating-with our earth-spirit kin.

  • What needs to be tended too, seen and honoured, or released? This is both collectively as an organisation, and for the individuals (human and beyond) that work with/as the organisation.

    We offer:

    • 1 Group Ho’oponopono session for the humans 

    • Potential for additional group healing session – e.g. a grief ritual, or similar process. 

    • Potential for earth-energy healing processes; either for the land, and/or the building-space you work with. 

    Healing is an ongoing thread throughout the process. Particular healing processes might emerge from other phases of our work; so we’ll tend to them when they arise, and prioritise showing-up for this work.

    Throughout other phases of our work together, it might also become appropriate to bring in others beyond your organisation in a conflict resolution process, or a treaty / honouring-colonisation process.

  • A somatic and energetic understanding of which earth-spirit kin are present already as collaborators/directors. 

    An organisational mapping of

    • the current systems and structures

    • how they flow together

    • any “stucks” or “sticky points” in the systems

    • what kind of relationship each system currently has with earth-spirit kin 

    The types of systems/structures we map include:

    • the physical space 

    • the financial systems

    • decision-making processes

    • power hierarchies/flows

    • communication systems

    • systems specific to your organisation (e.g. booking systems, cleaning rosters)

  • Entering into conversation with all earth-spirit kin to ask what wants to be. This is likely to include:

    • A “council” of all beings – what are the key visions, goals, and short to long term needs for the organisation, from the perspective of all the earth-spirit kin?

    • Ongoing noticing of synchronicities, messages, threads, and themes

    • Exploring in detail each of the systems/structures, and asking how they’d like to shift, through a variety of somatic gestalt prompts, intellectual awareness, and just-doing-it

  • Just doing it.

    A period of experimentation, where changes are made, and everyone participates in noticing what that does to the system. This becomes a cycle of action-research.

    Noticing if there are there any blocks to implementing the changes. What might these blocks be asking for? e.g. healing/release? witnessing? alarm-bells/warning-signals? 

    Who are the collaborators that can enact the changes required? How can we support the kin that are already implementing these changes (e.g. the community director, or the rainforest guardian), and what kin might we need to call-in? (e.g. the tech-admin assistant, or the spirit of fire). 

  • A spiral process of noticing what is and re-visiting any and all stages along the way.

  • What skills and competencies does your team and circle of kin require further learning in?  How can space and resources be brought forward to support this learning?

  • Mapping the next steps.

    A closing ceremony with all earth-spirit kin, to honour the completion of one phase in this spiralling cycle, and allow Planet Song to energetically transition out of our role alongside you.
